A circle made from hundreds of colored switches and light indicators. The eye focuses on one color then another, switching from macro view of the circle to micro view of the dots. Hidden in the mass of random dots are yellow switches and indicators. When the eye focuses on the yellow they see a smiley face.

Little. Yellow. Different. is a mashed up reference to pharmaceutical drugs and acid house. The title coming from a well-known pharmaceutical commercial from the 80s and the sosmiley face a reference to the 80s acid house scene of Chicago, where James grew up.
