Robot Simulation

Created for the ‘My Name is Robot’ group exhibition where artists were each given a robot to work on. James’ robot was re-made in mirror chrome and then placed on top of an LCD screen inside a two-way mirror box. Animations were developed and played on the screen beneath the robot. The colors and textures would then reflect off the robot like a dynamic digital skin. By controlling the color and intensity of the light emitted from the screen, the visual look of the robot was constantly evolving.
