Oil and Water

(2012)
Oil, Water, Architectural Model
120cm x 100cm x 150cm

An architectural model from Dubai is submerged in a tank half filled with oil and the other half water. Because oil is lighter than water it fills the top half of the tank, making the buildings disappear into the darker liquid.
